20-June - Tuesday - Tallinn -
In the morning city tour of Tallinn. The Estonian capital is a charming blend of medieval tranquility and modern urban life. The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. The sightseeing tour takes us around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, medieval Old Town Hall and Great Guild Hall. In the afternoon visit Kadriorg Park and Open Air Museum.
Overnight in Tallinn.
21 June - Wednesday - Tallin
We will continue our tour of the town, including some visits to museums like the Kumu Art Museum which received in 2008 the European Museum of the Year Award, and was recognized as Europe's best museum.

22-June -Thursday -
On our way to Latvia through the rolling hills of northern Estonia, we will visit the medieval town of Rakvere and Lahemaa National Park, with a stop at the ethnographical village of Altja, and a visit of Palmse Manor, the most impressive manor in Estonia that was the house of Peter von der Pahlen, who assassinated the Emperor Paul, the son and successor of Cahterine of Russia.
Overnight in the university town of Tartu, where we admire the charming Old Town and visit the University founded in 1632.
Dinner-2 together and overnight in Tartu.
23-June - Friday -
We continue to Cesis, a Hanseatic town with winding streets, castle ruins and beautiful gardens. we head south-eastwards to discover medieval Latvia. The tour takes us to the stunning scenery of the Gauja National Park and the town of Sigulda. We listen to the medieval Latvian legend of the Rose of Turaida and see the ruins of the Episcopal Castle and of the Castle of the Knights of the Sword. A little later in the afternoon, we will arrive in Riga.
Dinner-3 together and overnight in Riga.
24-June - Saturday - City tour of Riga.
A combined driving and walking tour encompasses the most significant sights of Riga: driving along the central boulevards of Riga, enjoying the view of the City Canal Parks, the Bastion Hill, the Powder Tower, the Latvian National Theatre, the Fine Arts Museum, the Art Nouveau Buildings of the beginning of the 20th century, the Freedom Monument, University of Latvia, Latvian National Opera House and the Daugava River.
During the walking part of the tour you will enjoy the beauty of the ancient Hanseatic City: picturesque streets of the Old Town, the Dome Cathedral, the Church of St. Peter, the old Guild Houses, the Swedish Gate, St. Jacob’s Church, the Parliament House, Old Riga Castle.

25-June - Sunday - Riga -
Following the visit of the famous market halls of Riga, excursion to Jūrmala, the vibrant Latvian sea resort, famous for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches. Latvian cuisine dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Riga.
26-June - Monday -
On our way to Vilnius, we reach the early work of Francesco Rastrelli, an Italian architect born in Paris in 1700, who designed in between other things, the Peterhof Palace and Chapels, the Stroganov palace, the Catherine Palace and the Winter palace all in and around Saint-Petersburg.
We will visit the Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland, Catherine of Russia’s last lover.
Following a guided tour of the palace, we will stop at the Hills of Crosses, one of the most holy sites of Catholic Lithuania.The precise origin of the practice of leaving crosses on the hill is uncertain, but it is believed that the first crosses were placed on the former Jurgaičiai or Domantai hill fort after the 1831 Uprising. Over the generations, not only crosses and crucifixes, but statues of the Virgin Mary, carvings of Lithuanian patriots and thousands of tiny effigies and rosaries have been brought here by Catholic pilgrims. The exact number of crosses is unknown, but estimates put it at about 55,000 in 1990 and 100,000 in 2006.

27-June -Tuesday - Vilnius -
The capital of Lithuania is known for its more than 1200 medieval buildings and 48 churches. The morning sightseeing tour of Vilnius includes a panoramic tour of the city and a walking tour of the Old Town with Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Peter and Paul Church, St. Anne’s Church, Old University and the Gates of Dawn.

28-June- Wednesday - Vilnius -
Excursion to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania, with the well preserved Trakai Castle, beautifully located on an island in Lake Galve. Upon our return to Vilnius, you could explore the town more in details with Jean or on your own until our dinner5 together.

29-June -Thursday -
Leave Vilnius. You will be driven to the airport.
