Dear Jean,

Our recent trip with you to Provence was delightful, informative and so much fun -- we will always remember it. What a treat to have you all to ourselves. You did a wonderful job of customizing our journey to suit our needs and interests. Knowing that my husband and I were celebrating milestone birthdays, you outdid yourself creating a one-of-a-kind experience. We are so grateful for your time, love and attention. I would recommend your tours to anyone looking for a deeper experience on vacation, one that includes history, education and a fuller understanding of the culture, arts and architecture. It's been a couple of weeks and we are still wandering around in a Provence-induced haze of happiness. Thank you!

My best,

Lisa Kahn

Fabulous museums with great collections of classic arts, all the way to contemporary.

If you ever liked Vincent van Gogh, this is the place.

The architecture is exciting because diversified.

The country has an amazing drive for survival when looking a the dykes system protecting a huge part of the land below sea levels.

July 13 to 24 -  September 11 to 22

With a history 6,000 years long, every square inch of land, temples and monuments bear witness to these past civilizations.

The long relationship between the Islanders and the various nationalities that occupied Malta over the centuries has created a marriage of styles and traditions, giving the Islands a fascinating eclectic culture. The islands of Malta, although small in size, are unique due to their intriguing and colorful past, definitely a must to visit.

Agrigento, in Sicily, is one of the most outstanding examples of Greater Greece art and architecture. Sicily for centuries was invaded by different civilizations and offers an amazing array of fascinating sites to enjoy, including Villa Romana del Casale with probably the largest mosaic floor in situ, 3,000 square feet, one of the richest and well preserved in the World.

A tour for absolute lovers of architecture, arts and music: A fabulous look at some of the great architects of the 20th Century and some fantastic buildings by Zaha Hadid, Mies van der Rohe, Daniel Libeskind, Walter Gropius, Hans Sharoun, Alvar Altoo, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Henry van de Velde, Georg Much, Adolf Meyer, Erich Mendelsohn, Norman Foster, Le Corbusier, Renzo Piano, Richard Rogers, Helmut Jahn, Jean Nouvel, Sauerbruch Hutton, Aldo Ross, Oscar Niemeyer, Frank Gehry, Peter Eisenman, Pei-Cobb, Philip Johnson, Peter Berhens etc.. without considering all the classical architecture we will still see, plus some darn superb museums of arts:

Alte Nationalgalerie (Old National Gallery), Berlinische Galerie, Bode-Museum Museum, Pergamon Museum.

We will go Dessau which saw the development of the Bauhaus School; to Wolfsburg (where Wolkswagen was"born") which offers more than thinking about cars; Magdeburg and the astonishing apartment building designed by the artist/architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser and Postdam, a beautiful city full of history with one of the most gorgeous small baroque castle you will ever see, the Palace of Sanssouci

a city which saw an important meeting between Joseph Stalin, Winston Churchill and Harry S. Truman,.that changed the face of the modern World.

And if by any chances, you do like classical music, Berlin has three fabulous symphony orchestras Berliner Philharmoniker, probably the best symphonic orchestra in the world, performing in wonderful hall with outstanding acoustics. There are also three opera houses and plenty of venues for contemporary music and jazz.

From Athens to Mount Olympus via a detour in the Peloponnese, through fantastic landscape, mystical places, historically fascinating sites, we will reconnect with architectural history, ancient philosophy and discover great food, delicious wines and meet delightful people while staying in very comfortable hotels.

Only 12 of you will travel with one of the best guide in all of Greece.

Two extraordinary cities with a very long fascinating history, sometimes dark but with a will to fight adversity. Amazing architecture and art.
